She is the WMX World Champion for the third consecutive time

Maser (Treviso), 28 July, 2014 - Kiara Fontanesi is still number one. She is the undisputed Queen of motocross. On the Loket track in the Czech Republic, Kiara took home her third World Championship title in the WMX class, the world elite in women’s motocross.
Kiara raced with grit and determination but moreover with her head, attacking when necessary and playing on her advantage at the right time. In the GP of the Czech Republic, after winning race1 on Saturday and thanks to the third place she gained on Sunday in race2, Kiara decidedly quelled the resistance of her first closest rival, Australian Rutledge. For Kiara Fontanesi, the dream of being crowned World Champion for the third year in a row has come true. The final classification finds Kiara Fontanesi (Yamaha) in first place with 255 points; Meghan Rutledge (Kawasaki) is in second place with 250.
Sidi Sport was also thrilled and gratified to be there, accompanying Kiara on her winning ride with our Sidi Crossfire2 boots, which thus remain the number one in motocross. Hers were specifically designed by Sidi for their Queen in a special pink version for a look that’s always in style, gutsy and appealing, just like the World Champion’s own personality.
Kiara Fontanesi was born in Parma in 1994. Now, at the tender age of 20 she has three World titles in her pocket and she is keenly aware of the fact that she could still write some more important pages in the history of motocross.  The present and future of women’s motocross belong to her, and Sidi is ready to help their Queen write a new chapter in this enthusiastic adventure.
