Gold with Teo Monticelli (Italy) and Silver with Angel Karanyotov (Bulgaria)

Maser (Treviso), 07 October, 2013 – If winning is hard, holding on to a title is even harder. However, the Italian National Superhot team, coached by Technical Commissioner Attilio Pignotti, accomplished this feat for the second time in a row at the Super Moto of Nations competition. After last year’s splendid victory at Portimao, Italians were back on top on Sunday, October 6th, at the Pleven track in  Bulgaria.
It’s a victory that also featured Sidi Sport. In fact, in the blue-clad Italian trio the wonderful Teo Monticelli played an essential role. Teo is the only newcomer to the Italian threesome, which had already triumphed in 2012. Sidi Crossfire2 boots, fitted with an SMS (supermotard) sole, accompanied him on the track and to the podium.
The Sidi Sport colours flew even higher on the track in Plevnen with hometown pilot Angel Karanyotov, who was also wearing Sidi Crossfire2 boots. He was wearing the Bulgarian national jersey when he went up on the podium to be awarded the silver medal.
Attached are photos of Teo Monticelli and Angel Karanyotov with their Sidi Crossfire2 boots featuring the SMS supermotard sole.
