ONE BIKE, A THOUSAND HOPES: FROM THE SOUTH TO THE NORTH OF THE WORLD
Sidi Sport is with Mauro Talini from Argentina to Alaska

Maser (Treviso), 07 January, 2013 - Sidi Sport shoes will be along for the ride with Mauro Talini during his trip for solidarity called “One Bike, a Thousand Hopes: From the South to the North of the World”
It’s a 25,000 km adventure from Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, to Prudhoe Bay on the coast of Alaska. The cyclist from Bologna is diabetic and reliant on insulin; he is taking on this journey alone, with just his bicycle, courage, commitment and determination, with the aim of raising public awareness of diabetes  and focusing attention on the AIPK Onlus - Padre Kolbe association and their projects inSouth America.
“This is a journey to demonstrate that our only limits are the ones we impose on ourselves, not those associated with diabetes or poverty,” explains Talini. “Diabetes is not a limit; actually, I consider it a school of life.”
Mauro Talini left Italyon December 20th and started pedalling right on schedule, to begin his long adventure on January 1st, 2013.
You go, Mauro! And the best of luck from Sidi Sport!
